As an Integrative & Functional Nutritionist, I help people identify the source of their health issues using advanced lab testing, personalized nutrition, supportive lifestyle therapies, and mind-body practices as the first line of intervention. It’s my mission to empower people to take back control of their health, reclaim their confidence, and experience life at its fullest potential.

More to the Story
For most of my life, I ate whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted—without a second thought about how it might affect my health. I told myself I was “fine” because I looked fine. After all, being thin or overweight doesn’t always tell the real story of what’s happening inside our bodies.
I had a serious sweet tooth—dessert often came before dinner—and while my meals were mainly homemade and filled with fruits and vegetables, I had one major downfall: salt and sugar. My excessive sodium and sugary food intake didn’t mix well with my family history of hypertension.
Before I knew it, my blood pressure began to climb, and my A1C levels followed. My doctor suggested I start a low-dose medication, lisinopril, to manage it. But as a former pharmacy technician, I understood that while medication can be life-saving, it also comes with side effects. Deep down, I knew I didn’t just want to manage my health—I wanted to transform it.
That moment became my turning point.
Instead of relying solely on medication, I began to take a holistic approach—focusing on nourishing foods, mindful living, stress management, movement, and self-care. I realized that true health isn’t found in a pill bottle—it’s created through daily choices, awareness, and balance.
That transformation inspired me to pursue a deeper calling—to help others do the same. It led me to become a Functional Medicine Clinical Nutritionist and ultimately, to found TeaTree Nutrition & Wellness.
